PNI and Partners Awarded for Excellence...

We are very pleased to announce that PNI and its programme partners have been recognised by the World Petroleum Congress for excellence in social responsibility.

In the Small Company Social Responsibility Award, PNI Nigeria was Highly Commended for the  Coastal Development Initiative, which includes the creation of Community Development Foundations, the establishment of the Institute for Sustainable Development and the 'living university' concept.

During the 18th WPC, Chief Bill Knight. Executive Director; Strategic Development and Capacity Building presented a paper on Coastal Development Initiative. Click here to download the paper.

In addition, Statoil was the Winner of the Large Company Social Excellence Award for its ongoing support for the Akassa model of community development: a community project based on substantial local participation.
