Community-Led Development
In addition to the Community Development Foundations, Pro-Natura International Nigeria is also active in implementing a number of other community-led development programmes aimed at improving local governance, poverty reduction, environmental conservation and and peace-building. These programme utilise our staff skills in participatory development and facilitating community institutions.
Through our community-led development programmes, Institutions are encouraged to bring communities together for holistic participatory development planning that can support interventions in education, health, livelihoods, environment, women and youth empowerment, skills acquisition and access to credit. Planning is participatory and capacity is built for development plan implementation.
